The Geauga County Sheriff's Office wants to make sure residents are aware of their emergency notification service. In the event of an emergency or severe weather condition, a text message will be sent to subscribers.
The Russell Police Department is pleased to provide a free, secured collection site where residents may bring unwanted medications for safe disposal.
Oil recycling continues on the first Saturday of the month through October from 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. at the Recycling Center. In July, due to Independence Day, Oil Recycling will be held on Saturday, July 13th. Used hydraulic oil will be accepted in addition to used motor oil.
